Among the most decorated young actors in francophone cinema, Théodore Pellerin moves between Quebec auteur drama, American independent film and prestige cable television with rare fluency in both languages. His 2018 lead in Family First brought him the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor and the Prix Iris for Revelation of the Year in the same season.
His American work that same year — Joel Edgerton's Boy Erased — was followed by Eliza Hittman's Never Rarely Sometimes Always, two seasons of Showtime's On Becoming a God in Central Florida opposite Kirsten Dunst, and the lead of Sophie Dupuis's Solo, for which he won a second Prix Iris in 2023. In 2026 he received a César nomination for Best Male Revelation, marking his arrival in French cinema's top tier.
