Adam Demos

Adam Demos is an Australian actor born in 1985 and raised in Wollongong on the New South Wales south coast. Before acting he spent a decade working in construction, taking on roofing and labouring jobs while pursuing rugby league. He moved to Sydney in his mid-twenties and trained at Screenwise Film & TV Acting School, beginning to take steady on-screen work from 2014.

His international breakthrough came in 2018 with the third and fourth seasons of UnREAL, where he played military veteran August Walker. He followed it with the Netflix romantic comedies Falling Inn Love (2019) and A Perfect Pairing (2022) opposite Christina Milian and Victoria Justice, and most prominently as Brad Simon across both seasons of Sex/Life (2021–2023), the role that consolidated his international audience.

In 2024 he stepped into network procedural drama as Will Ready, the lead in CBS's Rescue: HI-Surf, a Hawaii-set series from John Wells Productions that continues into its second season. His work is characterised by a grounded physicality, an understated emotional register and a deliberate preference for projects that lean on character over spectacle.

Off-screen Demos lives between Sydney and Los Angeles, supports several Australian surf-lifesaving charities and remains closely involved with the Illawarra acting community through workshops with emerging actors.

In 2025 he founded The Adam Demos Foundation, a non-profit registered in New South Wales that funds frontline programmes against gender-based violence and supports inclusive creative-arts initiatives for differently abled children. The foundation partners with regional Australian crisis shelters, runs annual scholarship places at adaptive drama and surf camps across the Illawarra and Greater Sydney, and channels a fixed share of every Primepass fan card purchase under Demos's name into its operating fund.
